Art Director Position - Green Empires

Jove Games is seeking an Art Director for our upcoming grand strategy title, Green Empires – an innovative empire management game where corruption is strife and success doesn't necessarily mean good government. We're looking for someone who can bring our complex world to life through stylized 2D visuals.

Position Overview

We're searching for an Art Director to lead the visual development of Green Empires, focusing on creating engaging, readable strategy game maps while maintaining a distinctive artistic vision. The right candidate will bridge the gap between aesthetic appeal and functional game design.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall visual style and art direction for Green Empires

• Design and oversee the creation of strategic map elements that are both beautiful and functional

• Create art guidelines and documentation for the team

• Manage art pipelines and workflows within Unity

• Collaborate with game designers to ensure visual elements support gameplay mechanics

• Review and provide feedback on art assets
